Post New to Club Lexus

I recently purchased a 2004 RX330 with only 71,000 miles. I needed a car for trips and to tow a sailboat. The car is in great shape and is very comfortable.

I've experimented with the fuel to see if there were problems with using 87 octane, and have not found any performance differences. I've been getting 23 miles to the gallon when mostly on the highway. Towing the boat, I was lucky to get 16.

I had a mediabridge put in, which worked great for a month, then problems since. I don't know if there was a conflict with the radio, a problem with the installation or what. I have worked with the audiovox support, who exhausted what they could do and asked me to return for a new unit. Crossing my fingers that this will solve the problems.

The forums are great, I've learned a lot.

Default Need MediaBridge Help

I have a 2004 RX 330 with basic radio w/ 6 CD Changer. I'm running out of ideas to get the mediabridge adapter running? I'm not sure what the conflict is. I've reset the radio a bunch of times by removing a battery terminal for several minutes.

The radio does not recognize the mediabridge, so no BT or Aux. When it was first hooked up, the mode would always stop at the CD whether there was a CD in the player or not, which would give me the option of connecting with BT. Not happening anymore, and don't know why.

Anyone have ideas?

Thanks. These forums have been a great helpl

Keep looking around here, but I really recommend a full replacement. Not really cheap or easy, imo best left to professionals, but my 350 is hands-free, sounds great, and hasn't had a single connection problem. Love it.

full replacement of the mediabridge or the radio? I was sent a new mediabridge, but just need to try the new harness since hooking to the previous harness is giving me the same bad results.

I may need to go for a new radio, but I was hoping to not have to do that.

Thanks for the reply.
