Attention Peanut Gallery: Your Access May Be Removed, Please Read This Post

This forum is specifically for buyers and sellers to post feedback for transactions THEY have been involved in. If you are not party to the specific transaction being discussed, DO NOT POST HERE.
You are welcome to read the posts as input to making a decision about whether you want to enter into a new transaction with someone buying something you have posted for sale or someone selling an item on the forums. That's why this forum is here. The buy/sell forum sometimes also acts as a trigger for mediation to occur and issues to be worked out. Many of the negative feedback posts that are started get removed because the situation between the buyer and seller is resolved to both parties satisfaction
However, for nearly every negative feedback post that occurs there are swarms of members who have absolutely nothing to do with the transaction who for some reason feel the need to comment on it. We get everything from support for the seller to encouragement to physically attack the seller. The comments inflame the issue and make the possibility of resolution much smaller.
This forum is here for your benefit to provide a warning system if a buyer or seller has issues or repeated issues. It has become a chore to moderate because of all the public hangings that go on here before the seller has a chance to tell their side of the story.
Effective January 1, 2006 ClubLexus will keep a log of everyone from the 'peanut gallery' who chooses to ignore the rules of this forum and make comments on a transaction they are not involved in.
The first time you chose to ignore the rules, your post will be deleted and a moderator will comment in the thread. The second time you ignore the rules, you will receive a 24 hour suspension from the forum. The third time, your access to the classifieds feedback forum (and possibly all classifieds, depending on your commentary) will be permanently removed.
I'm sorry we have to put such strict rules in place, but members keep ignoring the rules we have posted at the top of this forum.
