Default 2is dash removal and instalation

hello all, ive been wanting to replace my dash now for sometime due to it chipping and gashing and ive been searching for a thread to see if anyone had done it and havent had any luck finding one. i ordered one and when it gets here i plan on taking pictures to help anyone who might be wanting to do this later

I am interested in this too! I was gonna fix my dash but i think its easier just to replace it

Plus the dash itself is only around $500. But shipping is what kills yah.

My coworker replaced his. He said it wasn't very much fun. Pillars come off. Steering wheel. center console. Gauge cluster. audio unit. Glove box. I also think he pulled the seats just to be safe from tearing them up

^Yeah, either fully recline and push them back...or just remove them altogether.

Dash removal is not as easy as it sounds. As a tech myself, i remind myself a couple things.

1. Routing of wire. If it's routed wrong, it can cause premature shorts/opens in the wiring harness.

2. Removing the dash will loosen clips, or even have clips forgot that will cause rattling.

3. Dash work is not fun.
