Default Plasti-dipping your badges/emblems/letters

Hello guys,

I just plasti-dipped my front grill, badges, letters, etc. I wanted to get rid of the chrome and get all blacked out. I'm still missing the window sills, which I'll get to soon. Stay tuned for pics on the window sills. Here are some pics of the grille. Didn't have a chance to take pics of the letters on the trunk because it was dark out.

^ What he said. I would say it almost cheapens the look of the car. Which I absolutely hate chrome. I have gotten rid of chrome on every car I have owned but I would leave the front emblem chrome on yours. Next step would be to bake open the headlights and foglights and paint the insides black if it were mine. I am going to paint the grille surround and grille, headlights, and foglights black since I just made a new grille for mine.

I thought about it, but not so sure. I love the whole black idea. Maybe I'll end up getting the F-Sport grille from the 2011-2013.

Lol. It's stock. It's just my driveway and the way it's parked. I do want to lower it soon.

When I bought mine, the previous owner had plastidipped the chrome black. So it looks very much like yours. It can look a little much, but I haven't peeled any of it off yet. Well, not quite true. He had also plastidipped the rims a lime green. THAT got peeled off shortly after I took ownership.

I wouldn't say leave it chrome but let it pop somehow. Any color looks good on black. This is what I just finished up after making the grille. It Is plastidip for now but I will sandblast and paint later
