If you mount it in the ash tray it should fit perfect. I have mine mounted in the console compartment for a stock look. It depends what you want. Clean look to the interior ( not that its a florescent yellow box) or easier access to the unit.

I think I was talking to another member who said to get the box mounted in the ash tray he had a to cut a small hole in the AC vent pipe that runs the AC to the back seat area. Thats actually why I went with it in the console

Would you guys say that the EDFC is worth it? How often do you find yourself changing the settings?

I was talking to a member when I had mine installed and he had his in the ash tray but said he had to have the AC ducting to the rear seat cut so he could get it to sit flush with the console. Thats actually the main reason I had it installed in the arm rest

you're right. I have had mine in the arm rest for 2 summers and have had no issues........so far. I love the EDFC, especially now with a pregnant wife. When my wife is in the car I will set the suspension to 15 from full hard (16 is max softness) and when I want to play or push her through some corners I set it to 3 front and rear. I am happy that I decided to get the full set up. It makes the entire system so functional and dynamic
