Now thats precious. Congratualtions on the addition. I was happy to see the progress on the swap. Thanks for sharing what the problems was and the possible fixes. This is why Iove this site. It seems anything can be done on here when it comes to modding. Get the pictures when you have a chance.

Thank you all for the comments. My babies (wife and baby girl) are actually still in the hospital but will be discharged soon. They will be riding home in my wife's 2007 LX470. I just have to get the car seat put in this evening.
Again, I will get you guys all the information that I can once the girls are home. I too, love this site and have learned quite a bit from it. My wife says: "Don't you get tired of reading about Lexus stuff all the time?"
My answer is a simple: " Uh, no". She doesn't get it.

For the Vehicle speed sensor I took the newer Tacoma 05 ish 4x4 or 2wd can't remember it was pissing rain in the auto wreckers. and took it out and I stuck the w58 cable units gear with all the teeth on the rod of the unit from the Tacoma and then stuck it in and plug in and it works fine and speed seems to be dead on .

I'm very interested in this thread. Were I ever to get another SC it would be a 1998-00 SC400 VVT-i with the explicit intention of swapping an R154 manual and modifying the rest of the car exactly as I've modified my SC300.
Two years ago the information just wasn't there to do it properly. Please keep us updated and put up any media you like.

Hello everyone,
Thank you for all of the positive comments. I apologize once again for my tardiness in posting updates. I haven't really been doing anything with my cars since my baby girl arrived. I really want to get the SC400 cleaned up before I make a video and I just haven't had the free time. I haven't forgotten and I will get it done.
