Default The Next SC? LF-LC AWD Hybrid Convertible

LF-LC Convertible AWD Hybrid. Could this be the next SC?

2GR-FXE 3.5L V6 w/Lexus Synergy Drive.

SC 450h or LC 450h? Or would it be SC 450hC or LC 450hC. The Lexus alphanumeric naming is starting to get too complex. LS 600hL is already a mouthful!

I thought it was a fixed hardtop only?

I don't know if you can keep such a sexy profile with a folding hardtop convertible. Maybe with a softtop, but most people are against that.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a softtop, like the Jaguar XK or BMW 6-Sereis. It falls into that category, rather than something like the 3-Series hardtop or the IS convertible...

They should shorten the LS 600hL to the LSh (kinda like the CTh).

Since more rumors are spreading....

Lexus is hard at work on an all new hybrid generation system to debut with this car. This car might not have a CVT and it is really going to be tuned for power with the hybrid powertrain. It is supposed to be really revolutionary for hybrids.

Looking at Supra rumors I have all reason to now believe this new powertrain will be shared with the new Supra or Toyota sports car to battle the Acura NSX all over again.

More good times are coming!

Hopefully continuing the SC/Supra relationship in terms of engine sharing, etc.

Exciting times ahead!

Hopefully not. Supra needs to continue the legacy on its own, as the SC needs to create its own luxury identity, even apart from Soarer.

Probably Gasoline version. I would like them to make a smaller of LS/LC coupe/roadster, but if they make next IS coupe/conv much more sporty than current gen, I don't think Lexus need a small roadster right now.

+1 ... Thats what I heard from the rumor sites as well

And I think it should be a coupe as well, not a hardtop convertible.

Styling should be hot.

I'll pass if there is no more then 6 cylinders though, I don't care how fast it is. Sounds and smoothness is priorities on a highend coupe.
