will these have more power than the regular RX's? different suspension? other than the new tranny, are the "F" changes just cosmetic?

My wife has been seeing these commercials lately and tells me, "this is the next car we need to get!"

I'm excited about it...

That's my concern also, it is just cosmetics? If so, how could they with a straight face call it an F-Sport? Where is the sports that's built into a regular model RX?

Maybe they should call it: F-Sporty-Looking.

The same horsepower. Suspension is physically the same except for the increased stiffness in the shocks and suspension. This also features an 8spd tranny along with throttle blipping upon downshifts. It actually handles quite well, a lot better than any RX to date. I got a chance to drive one a few weeks ago in the Pacific Northwest. It's still an RX but it does feel a lot more confident on the twisties.

The F SPORT suspension provides firmer shocks and springs for a more engaging driving experience. A unique lateral performance damper system absorbs and minimizes body vibrations, resulting in a more linear steering feel and enhanced ride comfort. In lieu of conventional fixed bracing, this system features a front performance damper and a rear damper connecting the left and right sides of the rear structural frame. The eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, allows for more driver input, while increasing fuel efficiency.

Default Mica Red replaces the Matador Red on the RX

Folks, Yes I agree with a previous stated view on the Mica Red. I've seen this newer Mica Red and it leaves me a bit hesitant to get rid of my proudly maintained Matador RX350. The Matador Red was a beautifully striking and unique red in a world with a thousand different car reds. The Mica Red is darker and it takes getting used while it seems I'd never get tired of the Matador Red. Too bad, but eventually I'll give in for the new one based more on the many feature improvements despite the Mica color not being on my "plus" decision column.
