January is auction month in AZ. During the month we have several large auctions that draw the finest cars from around the world. Many of the people who arrange these events have wanted to start our own Concours De Elegance and they finally did. 2014 is the inaugural Arizona Concours De Elegance. The car scene is AZ is alive and booming. Here are some pics from the very first in a long line of shows. Saw some pretty amazing cars including the new Pagani Huayara !!

Here are the rest . Sorry guys but the Pagani was the coolest thing I have seen in a while. We also had the Alfa Romeo. THE OLDEST ALFA ROMEO IN EXISTENCE !!!! There was a 1967 Mk IV Ford GT40, 1968 Lamborghini Miura S, 1967 TOYOTA 2000GT ( 1of only 54 left hand drive cars to ever be built ), 1971 Ferrari 246GT Dino, Hudson Italia ( 1 of 26 built ),1939 Bugatti Type 57C Galibier ( 1 of 27 built ), 1964 Ferrari 250 Lusso,1952 Jaguar C type, 1957 Jaguar XKSS, 1928 Bentley 4.5 liter LeMans, 1954 Jayuar XK120, 1937 Maserati 6CM Grand Prix Car, and many many more !!

I know most me where are not into auto history ( sadly ) but I have to represent for the members who do care about history's greatest cars !!! Enjoy . Even if you have no clue I am sure there is something here you would enjoy .

One more cool thing about the show is that we were all celebrating the 100 th anniversary of Maserati . Happy birthday Maserati !!!

I am surprised that nobody on forum has mentioned the 67 Toyota 2000GT. Only 54 ever made in left hand drive . This one was purchased in Cali in 1967, stayed in the states, then went to Japan, and made it back in the last 10 years

Thanks for posting, I8ABMR. Last night's evening news ran a nice story (and video) on a number of displays at that show. They said (if I remember correctly) that everything in the show was worth at least 100K or more.

To say the least. One guy there said that the GT40 was worth huge money. The Bugatti type 57 Galibier is worth millions .we had many cars that were limited to less than 30-100 units when new. We even had the oldest Alfa Romeo in existence and the first car to err be designed as an Alfa . Considering Ferrari and many other famous marks got their spark at Alfa Romeo that makes that Alfa extremely rare and valuable . The scene here is filled with classics and wealthy old owners who have insane collections . AZ is one of the best places in the world to own and enjoy a rare classic

I really enjoy too to these events . Its a pleasure to share the pics. I just hope that the members enjoy them . In fact one of the main reasons I stop seeing patients on Saturday was so I could start doing what I love and going to shows all the time with the kids . I worked Saturdays for 11 years. Done with that BS so I will keep posting pics. Barrett Jackson is next week !!

I personally think its one of the most beautiful designs I have ever used. I also love the fact that they do it all by hand and even still use the old school leather straps. I even took a pic showing the Pagani logo even on the straps
