I am wanting to switch out the rear interior dome lights but I have no idea how to take it out. I have removed the whole housing with taking the screw out but the light bulb will not come out. Am I suppose to just pull it straight out or does it twist one way or another?

Use a small flat head screw driver to gently take off the cover, then when you get to the bulb (try not to touch it with your bare hands.) get a soft cloth and wrap it around the flat head and use that to pry it out. That's what I do, they come out fine each time, just be careful.

The bulb should be able to twist counter clockwise and pull right out.

I used a piece of clear tape over the bulb then pull it out.
